Upon entering, staff were kind and friendly and genuinly had good manners, thanking those that were coming and going. Probably wouldn't return however, food was overcooked and more on the darker side. Wontons didn't suit my taste profile. Fries were okay, however not my type of chip so will probably stay at my local F&P shop.

First time customer. Clean shop. Friendly server. Gurnard was lovely. Crisp batter. Could have been drained a bit more. Nice chips. Pause fritter was gluggy and thick. Good selection of drinks ( even fav creaming soda). Will def return. Nice to find a good fish and chips shop close.

Wow! Today I ordered 6 mussels, a scoop of chips and a caramel thick shake. I was so impressed with the quality of their food. I got a good portion of well seasoned chips and the mussels were so fresh they still tasted of the sea. They were big & creamy with a light batter. Perfection! The thick shake was one of the best in town!

Best local fish and chips. Very generous with sizing. The gurnard is divine and the chips are always crisp. They are closed until 5th of Feb when I turned up this evening so had to go with a random roast.
